I'm not an expert but I know you do need a driveshaft or atleast a pro to align it + you need a different Diff as well.

if you use the gxl rear you need a custom driveshaft (I've heard or automatic driveshafts working but take that with a grain of salt)

or you can just do the entire TII conversion and get the TII drveshaft, rearend and axles. I recommend that as the TII stuff was built to hold the power.
