1996 Geo Prizm Help Fixing Trunk/Gas Lever Release

Getting into my car a few weeks ago, I stepped on the levers that come out from the driver's seat and snapped them off from the base. I checked it out, and it doesn't look like I can fix it without taking the seat off and getting new pieces (hopefully from the junkyard). It snapped off from inside the housing that it's in, so just glueing the pieces back isn't an option. Has anyone else done this? It took me half an hour with a long skinny flat head screwdriver to get the gas cover to open (I took the bolt off), but I'd like to fix.

Also, the door handle on the inside back drivers side broke off, and I'm thinking I can get another one from the junkyard and fix it. I'm not that great at fixing automotive problems, but if it's just unscrewing a few screws and taking off some nuts, I can do it. That's all it looks like to me. Anyone?
