My 03 TL type S has a clicking sound in the dash that comes when I turn the a/c vent ot the top vents, but when I go to any other modes on the a/c system, is goes away. What is that clicking noise and how do I fix it?

Your A/C vent is controlled by a series of louvres which direct air flow and adjust temperature. I suspect that something is loose or something got caught in that position. I have a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL and my manual shows that it's quite a bit of work getting to the vent components. I'm afraid that you may have to go to an Acura dealer, or as long as it is not yet very annoying, just keep an eye on it. I don't believe at this point that the clicking sound is doing any damage to the system.

Thank you for your info. I am going to pull the dash apart next weekend to check things out.

I strongly suggest you get some kind of reference manual before embarking in that type project.
