99 1500 noise

I have a 99 1500 with 80,000 miles just bought it. Its making some weird squeeky kinda whistly noise when i turn. Any ideas??? also anyone know how much the new intermediate steering shaft costs installed at the dealership?

Re: 99 1500 noise

First thought is the front bearings are on the way out.

Mine went at about 95000 mi.

Raise the front end and give each wheel the shake and spin test.
