Power Window Switch 1998 G1500 Van needed

My drivers side power window will roll down, but not up. i removed the power wndow switch and can see where the plastic is cracked under the drivers side up button. The module controls both the driver and passenger side windows. I found a similar looking part at rockauto.com. (ds1440) is the part number. Does anyone know what the correct part number is for this make/model (chevy g1500 van, 1998 5.7)? Also, where can I get one of these besides going back to the dealer?

Your dealer is your best bet.
They can run your VIN no and get the correct part.
If you know the right dealer or person you can get a automatic 25% off list.
Are you sure it is the switch or have you checked to see if the motor is good?

Thats my next plan to call the dealer. However after looking at part at home, the ds1440 looks like the correct one. I'll let you know if it works.

Have you tested the window motor to make sure it is good?

Re: Power Window Switch 1998 G1500 Van needed

Yes, its good. i can switch the left and right hand controls and the window will roll both up and down. One of the little switches has the plastic cracked and a spring missing. I can changethem around and the window will go both directions. I compared the part to the one on the rockauto site (ds1440) and its looks identical. i went ahead and ordered so I should get it in a few days.
