I have a 2000 chevy express van in which we just had the fuel pump, fuel filter and air filter installed. the van ran fine for a while, but now when it gets hot it stalls. when it cools it runs good. we have also replaced the water pumpand a crank sensor. now it won't start at all. any suggestions?

sounds like cps installed wrong...are you getting any spark to the plugs?

yes, and my brother claims he thinks it is in the fuel because you shoot either in and it starts right up

My guess is that the new pump has failed.

Check for lose of voltage to fuel pump and fuel pump pressure.
Also check the fuel pump plug in wiring connector on transmission cross member.
That is a sore spot on the express van.
They lose connection and will give you a fit.
I have had to wire around some of them.

Also check the fuel pump wiring harness on the crossmember

Is this a fuel injected van? I have had problems in the fuel rail with the express that the dealers couldn't nail down. When the rail was replaced it went away.
Also, is it possible that a vacuum leak has popped up, unrelated to the fuel system?
You should check the fuel pressure when the problem pops up to see if the system from the rail/port back to the tank can be eliminated as the problem.
