97 Cirrus

Has anybody ever changed the starter in a 97 Cirrus. Is it hard or can it be done in the driveway with the proper tools. thx BB

2.5 however I have been able to successfully remove it once I found it and the hidden bolt.

The manual says Remove Negative battery cable. Jack up the car. Remove oil filter. Disconnect wires from the starter. Remove three bolts securing it to the transaxle bellhousing and remove starter from the vehicle.
