emergency brake light on when i brake

my father and i did the front brakes yesatersday on my 1991 toyota corolla DX and we had the emergency brake on so the car wouldn't move so the thing is that after we finished doing the brakes when i left i noticed that everytime i brake the brake light will go on in the dash and when i let the brake go it will go off again. Also when i turn to the left all the way too not to the right only to the left and when i brake any tips guys??

Thank you.

Re: emergency brake light on when i brake

you may have overfilled the brake reservoir (and it leaked out) when pushing the caliber piston in and may just need to add brake fluid as the light will also come on with low fluid level.
