governor on my 91

i was driving on the interstate and when i tried putting the pedal to the floor the govenour kicked in and all of a sudden i was only going 75. newayz, how the hell do i get rid of this annoying lil problem.

The only "governor" is an electronic rev limiter built into the ECM's programming (4,000 in neutral/park, 6,200-6,500 in gear). So unless you were screaming along in 2nd gear, you have a different issue.
