Aoshima VIP D.A.D. JZS161 Aristo

Just going to be a quick OOB build - bodies been sprayed Zero paints Nissan Gunmetal metallic basecoat plus Steve's pre-thinned clear. After about an hour masking up the window trim was sprayed automotive semi-gloss black and the head & taillights sprayed with Alclad chrome - the other chrome trim is Bare Metal Foil.

Thanks for looking
Andy

Just a couple of pics of the completed interior ( I know I should have filled in the back of the seats but laziness got the better of me):

Thanks for looking

The color is great... and the interior too
The only thing I don't like in the interior are the front seats in the rear view the union of the two parts will dissapear with some putty if I were you I'll try it .

If you would've carefully read his post, you would've read "( I know I should have filled in the back of the seats but laziness got the better of me)" At any rate, terrific work as always, Andy!!

@AJ: really you masked Steve's clear after so quick curing? (and I guess it's the laquer, not 2K stuff) . I noticed that it cure fast but I sprayed just thiny stuff..

No comment for the job J/K great paintwork as ever, seats back seems panel lines

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear in the earlier post - the hour was the time I spent masking up the body to spray the window trim & lights - a part of kit building I don't enjoy.

As for the gaps in the seat backs I think once everythings together it won't be too noticeable.

Cheers
Andy

may be is my poor understanding, and for seat I meant they seems panel lines in the sense they aren't noticeable or seems right so in a positive way, sorry for the misunderstanding
