For a long time every time i make a turn i get a clunk from the rear. I checked everything in the back and nothing is loose or hitting anything including the exhaust. The U bolts from the leaf springs were rubbing againist the rear shocks and i just cut the bolts down low so they don't dig into the rear shocks anymore but i am still getting a clunk. What else can it be any ideas?
Spare tire is tight. I'm not shore what type of leaf springs i have i believe there are like 4 or 5 pieces of metal attached togather. Many years ago i also had leaf spring boosters installed any ideas?
I was looking under the car and saw that the leaf spring shackle bushings are not in the best condition. One the right side one of the bushing is completely crushed. Could this be the cause of the noise. Anyone know where to purchase replacments nobody carries them i called autozone, advanced auto parts everywhere any ideas?
