2006 4.3L No power when taking off

NEED HELP... I bought this truck last april brand new silverado 1500 short bed. It now has about 24,500 miles. When the temperature out side reaches 80 degrees or hotter the truck has absolutely no take-off power. It takes about 30-40 feet before it will start running normal. I have taken this truck in 3 times already. One dealer said it is normal and the other said it has something to do with the A/C hose running above the distributor. The hose is almost 6 inches above the distributor. They had it for a half day and said it was fixed but its not...any ideas? Any ideas are better than mine or the dealers around here. THANKS

Welcome to AF.
Your dealer is giving you the brush off.
Take it back and tell them to fix it on there dime.

Tip on going to the dealer
Ask that only a factory certified gasoline engine performance specialist work on your car.
Not all dealerships are concerned with how repairs are dispatched, and not all dealership techs bother to take advantage of the training offered by factory (the vast majority of which is paid training). If the dealer is uncooperative, ask for your money back and call around for a dealer that will accommodate you.

Also call the 800 customer service no in your owners manual.

Something's amiss, and you can tell the dealer I said that. My friend has a 2006 Silverado 1500/4.3 as well, and it runs great when it's 100+ degrees outside (here in the Valley of the Sun - Phoenix Metro AZ).
