welcome to AF Buzz. There are quite a few things that can cause what you describe.
IF it stalls mostly as you come to a stop, it could be a stuck torque converter lock-up solenoid that's not unlocking the converter as you slow down. It would buck and studder just before stalling if this was the case (like coming to a stop in a stick shift car without taking it out of gear or pushing in the clutch pedal).
If it randomly dies while driving, you need to check to see if you have spark and/or proper fuel pressure when it dies.
Lack of proper fuel pressure (41-47 psi key on/engine off) could be a bad fuel pump, clogged filter, or a bad fuel pressure regulator.
Lack of spark could be a bad crank position sensor, ignition module or ECM, or the wiring to any of them.
