Condenser fan

Does any one know why my condenser fan keeps blowing fuses?

Re: Condenser fan

Sounds like you are an electrical short somewhere. No easy way to find it other than by inspection. The fan motor may have also developed an internal short creating a current overload. You can use a multimeter to read the dc resistance of the coil but offhand I do not know what it should read when it is working.
