97 Jetta Headlight Problem

Two days ago both headlights mysteriously went out while driving. Turn signals work, parking lights work, and the brights work but only if I hold them in. The bulbs look fine, and the fuses have been replaced.

Any suggestions?

Re: 97 Jetta Headlight Problem

Okay, I fixed it.

It seems as if the parking brake was the culprit. If it is even slightly raised up the lights will not work.

Sorry for the posts.
