guage warning to change oil?

how do i take that pain in the neck go away i have a 2003 silv 5.3....save my eye balls from seeing that every day please...

To reset oil life monitor turn key to on position then push gas pedal to the floor three times.

I thought it was 5 times?? Either way, it will reset it just keep slapping the petal to the floor until the DIC says it's reset.

just hold the, i think its the arrow button if you have it down and it should reset, i havent done it in awhile but i just hold a button down

I have an 06 Silverado and the owners manual says to press the gas pedal down 3 times to reset it.

turn key to "on"... press gas pedal to floor 3 times within a 5 second span.
