i have a 2000 4runner. my antenna will go up but when it reaches the top the motor continues to run. when the antenna tries to go down, it wont move unless you give it a little push. any suggestions? is it stripped? thanks

Re: Antenna

Probably just bent at the top a bit from driving or catching a hanging limb or something like that. Try give it a bit of a squeeze with some plyers to straighten the Kink. Be careful not to over squeeze it and bend it more. It shouldn't be stripped if it's working after a bit of a push.
