Does anyone have a 2005 Equinox with the cd/MP3 combo radio? Mine only has the cd player but I was going to replace it with the MP3 version. I don't want to buy one if the only way to listen is by putting MP3s on a CD. Does this year model have an input jack for MP3 players? Thanks ahead of time.

It does not have an external input, it has the function to play MP3 format files on CD's, giving you the option to scroll through folders and such. There are aftermaket adapters such from , I beleive the manufacturer is TERK that will allow you to connect Ipods and such to your radio. Those have to be installed from the back of your radio. Google Terk.
