Stereo Question

I need to know if the chime and sounds in my 1997 Blazer 4.3L 4X4 are built in to the stereo system. I am installing a new radio (finally) and need to now if I need to install the GM class 2 data buss adaptor.

No, the chime is behind the kick panel till 97, 98 and above I believe it's in back of the glove box.
