I can't find the leak. At idle when I first start it up, I see no smoke, no oil smell. When I drive it around I do get the odor and the smoke. And very quickly. I can't pinpoint where it is.
I can see the oil drips onto the exhaust in front, drivers side. But can't seem to trace it. Could it be power sterring fluid? Or is it a seal leak somewhere? Where would I look for a seal leak. Any suggestions, please.

If it is power steering, it would be most likely coming from the pressure line that runs from the top of the PS pump down around the back of the engine and to a valve assembly under the car. It could be the oil pan gasket though, the exhaust runs under the oil pan. I should add that it is far from the easiest oil pan gasket to change out. The engine cross member and front portion of the exhaust are suppose to be removed to change it.
