Another QuestionCivicLx 10-24-2002, 06:10 PM Well I took my back bumper up to the body shop to have a slot for the license plate made. I decided I'd go with the lambo style doors up front before the suicide doors, if the price was about the same. Well it is about the same $1,000, so I decided that I'd bring the car back in a couple weeks and they could do it. But now I'm told that I can get a complete 95 GSR for $3,000 out the door. The only problem is that it won't be smog legal. Like I've said before, I really need to do the swap next, but I want a newer engine; 98+. What should I do? Also, the car will eventually become a full show car, and actually, the town I'm from...or county I mean...you only have to smog your cars when you buy or sell them. Thing is, it won't be a full show car for a little while, and I don't really live in that county anymore. My license says I do, but I'm staying somewhere else now. So anyway, what do you guys think? kicker1_solo 10-24-2002, 07:26 PM Cool about the doors. :) About the gsr, that would be illegal. To make it legal you have to have the same year as your car or newer for the motor. So a 95 motor in a 98 car wouldn't be legal. But if you don't care about that, go for it. :D kicker1_solo 10-24-2002, 07:29 PM oh yeah, and I put a couple of your new pics on my webpage. :) Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
