Can anyone tell me if I can buy another brand cd/dvd for my venture, and still use the radio control buttons on the steering wheel.
I'd like another double DIN cd/dvd/mp3 player, but I also like the use of the steering wheel buttons.

You might want to try contacting the Customer Service dept. at Crutchfield,( www.crutchfield.com)and check with them. They have quite the knowledge when it comes to factory and aftermarket radios and installations. I have been using them for the past 20 years or so and find them to be very knowledgeable, and have a lot of information.
