'73 Gran Torino Sport Fastback 351CChar251 05-23-2007, 01:09 PM We have a '73 Gran Torino Sport Fastback we are working on making it road worthy again. Presently we have it stripped down to the bare bones. Our largest problem is finding parts for it. Does anyone have any websites/phones numbers where we may be able to track down parts. Love to get something in Can. as it costs more to ship parts sometimes then to buy them.. But open to all ideas and suggestions.. MrPbody 05-23-2007, 01:46 PM Not sure about body and interior parts for the '73, but "Ford Obsolete" in Long Beach has always been a good source for old Ford parts. Year-1 may have some of it, too. For engine and chassis parts, your local parts store should be able to hook you up with all of it. NAPA is usually a source for good quality. Sealed Power/Speed Pro would be the main choice for engine parts. Jim '97ventureowner 05-23-2007, 03:02 PM Too bad you didn't post this a year ago. I got rid of my 1973 Gran Torino and you could've had it for free. When I was working on it and trying to locate some hard to find parts, I always checked into Hemmings Motor News (www.hemmings.com). They have ads from people all over the country with any part imaginable along with ads from companies who specialize in parts for your specific vehicle. Another place I checked out that had a lot of different parts for Torinos was eBay,(eBay Motors). Char251 05-23-2007, 03:03 PM We will purchase all that we can with NAPA. We have a good connection in there.. But it is extremely difficult to find parts for. We can normally find stuff in Cali.. but the shipping is just killer.. without leaving the continent we are about as far away from Cali. as you can get.. We have fabricated some small stuff.. but it needs a new hood. Any ideas on what hoods would possibly fit the '73 model? Wish I had of posted it a year ago Now.. I'll check the hemmings site.. Thanks. We are forever on ebay.. HAHA.. slightly addicted puts it mildly.. Thanks for that website.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
