In Northern Ky?
Skyline Sighting in northern Ky?
I saw this go by me...
and I knew it looked different...then I caught up to it in traffic...
Hmmm...is this real? I know they were supposed to start labeling the G35 as it was in Japan (as the Skyline) but I didn't know they already had. Is this an actual find or not?

Re: In Northern Ky?
i guess it is a find, but there's a white one up by me, it's not really hard to just change the name plates from infiniti to skyline, and put 350gt on it. was it lhd or rhd.
rhd would my guess make it more like a real skyline but still no turbo's make that conversion seem like it would b easy(in comparison to other conversions)

Re: In Northern Ky?
It wasn't just the name plates though. It looked a bit different...had a different spoiler and the front end was completely different. It was lhd though. I dunno. It was cool whatever it was.

It wasn't badged. It looked completely different, front and back.

Re: In Northern Ky?
ok, so then to put it as bluntly as possible, as like many people and their honda's, this guy took nameplates off a different car plopped it on his, bought a bodykit for a skyline installed it on his g35, and bought a skyline v35 spoiler off ebay or at the local nissan dealer, and decided to make u think it was something that it wasnt.
lhd kinda gives it away that all it is is a modded g35, a person with a v35 wouldnt convert rhd to lhd

Amen, brother.
Looks can be deceiving...
If you really want to find out, should've stalked the guy 'till he came to a stop somewhere, and write down his VIN number, then run that number somewhere...

Exactly, and looking at the price tag on both, I'd still rather have the 350Z, than the G35... To me the Z looks better anyway.

Re: In Northern Ky?
ehh. i'd take a Z, kinda cuase it's more of a legend with the letter "Z"
oh and arent they uping the power on the Z too, or was that a rumor
to me a g35 is different than a "Z", it's the man who lives in Manhatten car, whereas the z is for people who know what it's like to have fun driving a car and hearing the road and the engine

Re: In Northern Ky?
They're upping the power on the "G35", too. It's no longer going to be the G35...it's going to be the G37. It's getting a 3.7L VQ with an estimated 330hp. Infiniti (or is it infinity...well...whatever...) sent me an email about the unveiling of that and their new MX concept (I think it was called) and they both looked great. Just wonder when the "350Z" will become the "370Z"...has a nice ring to it...and I wonder what power they'll give the Z with that engine...350hp? Maybe more? Hmmm...........

Re: In Northern Ky?
i read somewhere that they were going to bring the 350z power up to 350 and make awd an option. i'd take the power but prefer the rwd, i already have an awd car, i wanna enjoy donuts in the parking lot
