AC Blowing hot air

Not quite sure what happened actually.

Here is what happened in series of events.

For the two days of purchasing my 2000 Jetta GLX, AC worked fine blew nice and cold.

Somewhere in between the morning when it was working to the afternoon of the 2nd day (today) the AC started blowing hot air. Question, could this possibly a massive leak or refrigerant since the car was inactive for a year? Or does it sound more like an electrical problem?

The system is the Climatronic auto AC system.
Noticed also the #25 fuse was missing but I'm not sure what relevance it would have with the AC if it was working before
