What's the best platform to work on and upgrade?

In your opinion what is your favorite manufacturer to work on and list the car model and type!

Nissan is the #2 car in japan, next to toyota... so their aftermarket is HUGE over there... nothing here really, which sux... everything is so expensive.

My bro has a 240sx and he drifts it all the time, his tires are wack now... he eh he...

Well, I'm partial to two makers for the States. Honda/Acura and toyota and VW. If I were overseas, definitely Nissan. But here in the States, these makers have the best aftermarket support, IMO.

Ferrari... id have to go with a impreza STi as best platform to work with. except all their upgrades are really expensive. but honda/acura has the biggest aftermarket selection

i chose porsche...
but i would honestly take a vette... c5.
they are completely insane.
and the vette is distinguishable as a marque, not just a car...
but i would choose porsche after seeing some of their race cars...

i dont know its a tough pick, but id prob pick Benz or Bmw but make them sleepers like a Renntech SL73 (550bhp) or a Hartage 3 series V8 (an M5 engine shoved into a normal 3 series) and then just shave the badges.....this way you still get all the class, but you can kick the crap outta just about anyone.....esp that 3 series

for the US, acura/honda have the best base, and best aftermarket support for upgrading....you prounounce the words b18c, and everyone knows......

outside of US thou, i'd say nissan, they have done miraculous things t their cars, and tey have great aftermarket internationally....i'm speaking mainly of the skyline gt-r, but 300z is good too.....

I voted Honda/Acura, but that response is partial. If you weren't as concerned with aftermarket support, I'd go with Mazda and work with a rotary. ...I wonder who picked Isuzu and why?

actually, I think small block chevy's have the largest aftermarket here in North America...second would be Ford 302, then would come Honda/Acura
