'98 Jimmy died and won't start

I was just leaving stop sign and went about 3/8 mile and engine shut off. Now it cranks but will not start. It has spark and 65 psi fuel pressure. I have sprayed fuel down intake and it doesn't even fire at all. I did remove plugs and they seem wet. I did do the leak down test and it holds at 60 psi. Any ideas?

Check for good hot blue spark at/to more than one spark plug.
Also try a shot of carb cleaner in the intake.
Pull dist cap and check dist rotor setting at TDC compression no 1 cylinder.
And make sure dist shaft is turning good and check rotor and make sure cap is good.

You could have a stripped dist gear if The base dist setting in the link does not check out .

MT-2500, I installed new cap,rotor,wires, and plugs. Engine started right up. I have never had it happen that the engine completely died from these items. I inspected and couldn't see any positive cause or problem with any of the parts I removed, but it runs good now. THANKS for your info and help!!!!!

you are welcome and thanks for posting back how it went.
Glad all is well now and tune up fixed it.
With a high voltage ign if the voltage and spark can not go threw the rotor and cap and wires to plugs. It will find a way out or into something else.
It could have sparked something or the pcm saw a problem and went wild.
They do strange things when all everything is not up to par.
On Cry vans and pickups if the speed sensor goes bad it will trigger something in the pcm and kill the engine driving down the road.
Stop and pull over and restart and it runs again!!!

What brand was the cap/rotor? Hope not Wells (AutoZ brand).
Same thing drove me crazy for 3 days and even the GM dealer who after 1.5 hours put a new set in and OK- Ford also having aftermarket cap/rotor internal burns in the traces within the formed plastic that produces multiple similtaneous sparks so no way to see it! And no codes! I use Delco or Standard Motors Products for all now, as I even had a new crank sensor that threw off the timing and when I put a SMP one in OK.
