96 Bravada Leaking Coolant In Cabteeja123 05-10-2007, 10:04 AM My Bravada Is Leaking Coolant Into The Cab Of My Truck. This Winter The Heat Didn't Work Well At All. Any Ideas??? MT-2500 05-10-2007, 10:09 AM Unless coolant is leaking in at the heater hose connection you have a bad heater core. If it has the old green coolant keep the windows down when using it. The fumes off of old green is dangerous to inhale. MT Scrapper 05-10-2007, 10:44 AM i agree sounds like heater core unless one of the hose is leaking going to heater core..good luck.. ericn1300 05-10-2007, 09:09 PM how to replace the heater core here: http://www.sytyarchives.com/howto/viewarticle.php?article_name=heater_core.php&dir=climate_controls i did mine in one day and just under a six pack consumed. take MT's advice seriously, my wife had a grand mal seizure from riding in the passenger seat over a coolant leak. it was pooling under the carpet and nobody noticed until after the event. they her pulled CDL for six months, which meant no pay for six months. luckily it wasn't me, i was driving at 75mph thru Nevada when it happened laxman21 05-17-2007, 12:40 PM how to replace the heater core here: http://www.sytyarchives.com/howto/viewarticle.php?article_name=heater_core.php&dir=climate_controls i did mine in one day and just under a six pack consumed. take MT's advice seriously, my wife had a grand mal seizure from riding in the passenger seat over a coolant leak. it was pooling under the carpet and nobody noticed until after the event. they her pulled CDL for six months, which meant no pay for six months. luckily it wasn't me, i was driving at 75mph thru Nevada when it happened Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the link is for 93 and older models. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
