Rear amp in the trunk, How do you bypass the wiring to get sound from the speakers?

Has anyone's amp give out in their impala, when the amp is gone you do not get any sound at all, the g.m tect bypassed the wires to see if the stereo worked and it does, not sure what to do to get sound without the amp working, it's going to be 3 or 4 weeks before I can get the amp under warranty from the us to canada but would be nice to have the stereo working until then, anyone know what wires go from one plug to the other to get it to work?
