You dont. If you're not already skilled enough to know how then you shouldn't be.

Re: top speed limiter

So is this device worth $650? I want to remove my speed limiter, and i want to tune my car...

How much HP can you gain from just tuning it with this software? I have a CAI and Dual Exhaust, will it be able to tune them to get more horse power?

I read the page, but i still dont know what the difference between the standard version and the pro version, i found this: "With the Pro Version, you can integrate 0-5v signals from various sensors such as EGT, Wide Band, fuel pressure and others right into our scanner." I dont know what that means...

I need help please...

You don't need it with a CAI and dual exhaust. Put that $650 towards something else. You have to be really skilled and know what your doing to tweak the car enough where it would be beneficial. No offense, but you don't know enough and your car isn't safe enough to be going over 108. Your parents can thank me later down the road when your still alive.

yeah it usually takes about 10 replies to get a straight answer with that question

disconnect your speed sensor, also known as a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) your speedometer and odometer will quit working but you'll be able to take that car as fast as you please, your rev limiter will also be disabled, good luck!

if you wanna do it the right way though your only option is hptuners

Re: top speed limiter

yeah then you don't know how fast your going, so you don't know if it worked, not that it wouldn't, lol. Throw a turbo on the beast, and buy hpt. Change the speedlimiter and the rev limiter, tune out some knock, and get the most out of your injectors, you'll thank me later

That's what my next project is going to be, so i guess tuning my car won't be a waste... But my question was: Is the HPT worth $650? Like how much extra HP will you gain from tuning a stage 3 turbo kit with the exhaust? If you only gain like 5 HP from tuning the car, then its not worth it IMO...
