Question Dome light problems

My friend just recently bought a '91 2-door Grand Am and everytime he closes his door the dome light stays on. He's had to actually take out the fuse for the light to keep it off. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where exactly the wires are to the dome light so that he could hook up a switch to manually turn on and off the light without having to go through the annoyance of pulling the fuse all the time? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dome light problems

Is it just the dome light staying on...on my Grand Am both the dome light and the foot well lights stayed on. Solved the problem by installing a switch in the dome light itself, and took out the footwell lights. All it required was to take out the plastic cover to the dome light and cut the hole for my switch. Then just hooked the switch in series to the light. No more taking out the fuse....
