Exclamation 1997 S-10 Blazer Hatch Stuck

The glass on my 97 s-10 blazer is stuck shut. It appears that the latch won't release. The solenoid sounds good, but the attenuator(??) doesn't seem to make contact and I can't manually release the glass. Any assistance or diagrams would be great. It's a work truck and I'm doing everything through the side doors.

Re: 1997 S-10 Blazer Hatch Stuck

When my rear hatch hasn't been opened in a few days it will stick to the rubber weather seal and I have to wiggle it, bop it, and pull a little hard to get it to open. Much like when it freezes shut in the winter. This may be your problem if you hear the solenoid clicking as usual.
