ok so i replaced the stock stereo with a new cd player, and ever since then whenever i turn on my headlights my dash lights go out. also i can turn the stereo on and off with my headlight switch while the car is turned off. weird i know anyways its a 98 saturn sl2 any help will be greatly apreciated

If you spliced wires in your new stereo... you errored somewhere.. go back.. There are wiring harnesses you can buy for less than $10... that are plug and play with no fuss...

thats the wierd part i did use a harness, now i have heard many different explanations one that has caught my attention was that i needed a data bus 2 harness or something like that
