ive got a 1993 escort LX with a 1.9L auto that I plan on changing the filter and fluid. how much fluid do i need with a pan drop and filtewr change? i was told 2 4/5 quarts is that right?

It is 2.5 quarts. The filter isn't going to suck up too much. Add 2.5 and if necessary top it off with that left over half.
