2005 Jetta GLI Intercooler?

Hi, Im on the market for an intercooler but there are so many out there. Im thinking about going bar and plate. Do you all have any thoughts on this. Also is Ebay an option? I know you can get cores and pipe kits for cheap. I'm not a big fan about spending 1500 bucks on an intercooler when cheaper ones will do the same. Your help and info is greatly welcome. Thanks

Buy a Boost Factory SHoebox intercooler. I know the guy that makes them and they work well with stock and slight upgraded turbos. THey flow like a stock but have higher volume for almost as much efficiency as a FM intercooler. Plus there only like 400-500 bucks max.
