2000 cirrus trys to start by it self

when my battery is connected my chrysler trys to start with out a key inserted can any think of the cause and how to fix it.

If you remove the starter relay in the power distribution center and hook-up the battery, does the starter still try to crank?

If you unplug the brown wire at the starter solenoid, does the starter still try to crank?
