1999 SL Oil Burner- please help

My 1999 Saturn SL burns at least a quart of oil every 1000 miles. It doesn't smoke and it doesn't leak oil. I can't figure out what's going on.
I thought about having some guys run a moto-vac on it. Any opinions on those?
