Damn Schister, you're getting lambo doors? :cwm27: I guarantee you that no one makes a "kit" for it. You'd have to either take off the roof and totally replace it with a custom one, or you'd have to cut the roof up. This would damage your cars structural integrity. You own a '98 EX, a Del Sol can't cost more than that. You should sell it and just buy or trade it for a del sol, if you're really interested in having a targa top. AudioGuy93DelSol 04-22-2007, 05:33 PM Honestly, they're right. For the price of a 98 EX you could easily get your hands on a Sol. And your car would loose a lot of torsional stability if you cut the roof out. Schister66 04-22-2007, 06:07 PM Damn Schister, you're getting lambo doors? I guess so...:screwy: so if you got lambo doors on your car and i said why? what would you say? Well i would say that i've lost my mind and should be admitted to a mental institution because i have a lot better things to spend my money on. Plus, i'm not into the whole ricer thing... You're going to jeopardize the structural integrity of the car making it unsafe to drive. The car would do horribly in an accident and wouldnt have a lot of rigidity. I would be really surprised if the car held together once the roof was removed. If you want a Del Sol, buy one....dont "make" your EX into one... Hondacivicrazy1998 03-16-2010, 07:36 PM Dude, I so agree with you apout the targa top. I own a 1998 Honda Civic DX coupe 5-speed manual, and its my first car, i drive it everyday and everywhere i need to go. I have custom paint job, bodykit, spoiler, rims, sound system, racing seats, and custom interior. I know exactly what you mean about wanting a targa top. Luckily, I work at a full mechanic shop here in New Orleans, La, and I'm doing a targa top for my car. All you have to do is cut the roof off about 2" from the front windshield to above the top of the front seats, weld in place where you cut the roof off with 1.5" metal square rods, put in some holding clamps, and finally some rubber sealer. so you wont have any leaks when it rains. ~Hondacivicrazy1998~ Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
