Well, after the car being in the shop for almost two damn months I have her back and I couldn't be happier because she has a new set of shoes. They are 5Zigen FNO1R-Cs 17" x 9" 35mm offset. I'll need to get new tires before winter and right now it has 245/45s on it. What do you guys think the ideal size would be for a 9" wide wheel? I was thinking 255/40s? Anyhow; here are some crappy pics I took today, I'll get some better ones this weekend. Also, looks like I need to polish those calipers.

On a side note: Anyone need some stock, white, TT wheels or center caps?

As for the proper tire size, it all depends on what size the original tires were. Once you post that up, I'll calculate the right size tire for the new wheels.

i forgot you had that car, 255/40s, thats a nice fat tire. 40's are little thin in the sidewalls, so expect a kinda rough ride.

sweet wheels, your now rocking hte same wheels i got for my 240. but mine is in 17x10 in the rear and 17x9 in the front :grinyes: . i love the color that you got and that would be my prefered choice. they are sooo light for that size rim too, and is surprising durable.

for a 17x9, your suppose to be able to put a 265mm on it, but since that size doesn't exist in 17 in diameter, your goin to have to settle on stretching 255mm or squeezing 275mm on them.

Simpe and clean! The way it should be. Thoes calipers will look sweet when everything is all polished up.

Yeah, when the stock ESC struts wear out I'll replace them with a nice set of coil-overs with a 1" drop. As for the 18s. I don't much care to go bigger than 17s. I'm more concerned with performance than looks. The 18s would be more expensive, heavier, more prone to bend, and I didn't want to buy new tires anyhow.

The stock wheels were 17"x8.5" with 245/45 17s. These wheels are 17"x9" and I still have the 245/45s on them and they are stretched.

Yeah, the poor Mopar is parked outside. The Stealth is still a Mopar to me. They helped design it.

Well the 245s are a little stretched on there right now. I think that 255s will fit perfectly.

Take a look at this:

A 245/45/17 tire has a diameter of 25.68 inches. If you want to go wider, here is your best match: 275/40/17, which has a diameter of 25.66 inches.

The 255/40/17 will have a diameter of only 25.03 inches, so when your spedometer reads 70 mph, you're only going 68.23 mph.

Bottom line: if it fits, go with 275/40/17

I agree, you should consider lowering it even a little bit sometime in the future.
Those wheels look good on it, but like I said, lowering it is a must... Just not a big fan of the big gap...
