Question Recommend brakes for PreRunner

I need recommends for replacement brake pads on a 98 Tacoma PreRunner 4 Cyl. I'm only getting one year from pads I bought at NAPA What brand is best & lasts longests? Semi-metalic, organic, OEM(Toyota) etc.
My local parts stores carry Wearever, Bendix, Raybestos, Beck/Arnley,
Albany, & Valuecraft.
I know Bendix is or was the leader in brake parts.
I average about 40k per year, no loads, lot of stop & go traffic.
Thanks:frog:
