throttle plate adjustment

Guys I know that the idle is controled by the pcm, but can I loosen that small tiny bolt that prevents the throttle plate from closing completely? in other words if I try to do this on 3.1L GA will I be able to decrease RPM to 600 instead of 650~680?

Re: throttle plate adjustment

You can but most likly the PCM will increase it to compensate for the loose of rpms.

Its not recomended anyway.

Clean that IAC and your idle should drop some too.
