Re: Is donkeypunchperformance gone?

Wow that blows. I think MMS is the only place that carries quality engine parts anymore for our cars. They'd better not go out of business before I can buy their shyt or else I'm going to have to buy me a trans am or something... not necessarily a bad thing lol but I'd like to keep this thing.

Re: Is donkeypunchperformance gone?

milzy has had some issues... try out.. http://www.60degreev6.com/store/
plenty of stuff there to help you out. if you need tuning, a company called DHP and HPTuners makes a tunable PCM that you can tune yourself. The DHP PCM stuff can be found on www.pfyc.com and HPTuner PCM stuff can be found at www.hptuners.com

How do their parts compare? I'm guessing the lower 3500 IM is probably better... how about everything else? Think I can milk out more HP with 60V6 stuff?

Their parts work that's all there really is to say. All these places are doing is taking out all the work for you to find a local shop that specializes in port/polish duties, and building up heads for real power and abuse.

You can definitely milk out more power from their stuff, also you have to think about to be able to squeeze the most out of all these parts would be to properly tune the car via DHP Powertuner or HPTuners. Both of which allow you to hit up a dyno and be capable of tuning from the comfort of your laptop to maximize the efficiency and performance of your setup.

No dynos around here... there's a guy that kinda "cheats" it here in town, that can tune my stuff, but I don't know how it can compare to a dyno... he's also the same guy that's going to be installing all my parts, as I don't have the time, between classes and work and everything else, to do it myself. He charges a very, very reasonable price though.

I'm assuming he uses one of those tuning programs, but I never asked.

Definitely get your information on what he'll be using to tune before you agree to have him start messing with things.

Totally. Part of the reason I'm joining GAGT forums and things like that, so I can learn EVERYTHING before I proceed with ANYTHING. I do not want to make a mistake with so much money! Thanks for helping me out so far

http://www.60degreev6.com/store/inde...d&productId=59

That looks neat Better than MMS stage 2 things I'm presuming?

If I had a v6 I'd go w/ the 3500 top end personally.

MMS HAD problems but as far as I have heard they are not anymore.

That 3500 swap is no where near what MMS stage 1 or 2 is.
Thier heads are using stock valve springs and valves
You can goto a salvage yard and buy all those part for half that $1500.

And Vipey,
you should know by now, GAGT....
I think I know a little more then those posers

Ok a lot more
