Yeah, the orange neon is toast. I blew the engine in galveston, in a spectacular fashion, but no use crying over spilled milk. So yea, I'm in a new neon. 01 R/T, 5spd, 2.0 magnum. I've been in quite a few races since then, just haven't posted here in a while. So let's catch up why don't we?

1st Race vs. Tiburon 2000 or under KILL
It was wet, so no traction in 1st gear at the dig, but i caught him in 2nd, and beat him in 3rd.

2nd Race vs. My best friend's 02 wrx DEATH
I didn't want to agree to this, since he's already stage 1, but my other friend talked me into to it. you already know what happened there. 20 roll in 1st, kept up until 2nd gear, got my doors blown off.

3rd Race vs. little azn boy in a civic with 18'' rims(i'm being serious) KILL
I was going to my friend's house to hang, when this little civic get's next to me and drops to 3rd, I'm still in 4th contemplating wether or not I should downshift, but I was staying with him and past him up, didn't need to go to 5th.

4th Race vs. a civic SI(older model a little before hatchback SI) PRESSUMED DEATH
Got next to him dropped 3rd, he dropped 3rd and stayed ahead 1 car, it was like a 2 second fun run, we were in traffic, and there was only enough room for that small 2 second run.

5th Race vs civic EX with nitrous DEATH
got next to this guy dropped 3rd, and looked at him mess with something before he dropped 3rd to run me. he stayed 2 cars ahead of me.

6th race vs. mx-6 with millenia swap KILL
he jumped on me and got a 3 car lead until i slowly walked on him.

7th race vs. accord with unknown mods DEATH
when he took off i seen white smoke come from both of his mufflers and kept a 6 car lead on me even at 120+.

well i've been really enjoying my car, and currently trying to get a new job to begin my mods.

yeah the hahn kit is nice but the money you would pay for the kit you could use that and the r/t and get a srt straight across.....besides even if you did get that kit the 2.0 is limited compared to a forged 2.4 get what im saying....in my area you could find used srt for like $10,000 some even cheaper than that....

Yeah, why would you waste your time on the R/T when you're planning on upgrading to the SRT in the future?

Save the money for the down payment, bigger down, less you spend each month, more you save, more you can spend on mods...

It's like buying a V6 Camaro, saying you'll get the Z28 in the future, but want to spend money on it to make it peppier. It's just a stupid move. Don't do it, trust us. In the long run you'll love us for it.

isn't the r/t version of the neon lighter than the srt-4 and in a coupe anyway?
