92 camry P-R-N-D lights

Recently I was driving at night and I noticed on my car that the lights for the P-R-N-D-L1-L lights are not comming on by the transmission. All other lights work in the interior. Is there a bulb under the transmission shifter or is there a fuse that needs to be replaced? Also recently a few days ago I did have my transmission fluid changed so im wondering if they did something that might of caused that.

Driver2001,

I doughbt that changing your transmission fluid did anything wrong. On my 89' Camry I have two areas one on the transmission hump and on the dash. Both are out and Toyota tells me parts on mine aren't available. Your 01' might have better luck. First I'd try them first and see if the parts are still available. Perhaps they can give you a copy of the schematic.

Its actually a 1992 camry. I pulled the cover off over the interior for the transmission and under it I think there is a light bulb. I gotta double check on that though. A junk yard might have the lights if they are not available for purchase.

The dealer should still carry that bulb. Some things are not worth getting from a salvage yard. Light bulbs are one of them, IMHO.

Yea I will check that out tommorow. Check with toyota and advance auto parts and see if they have them. Ill refrain from getting the bulbs from a junk yard.

Turns out it was just the bulb. Was able to get in there and got it replaced.
