whats involved?GSXBMX 04-12-2007, 03:04 AM i currently have a 1995 200sx se-5 with the sr20de motor.im thinking instead of dropping the ching ona turbo kit i may just swap in a sr20det motor and call it a day.i found one from osaka motors for 2,000 and it includes -motor with turbo -uncut wiring harness -transmission -all required cables -cam angle sensor -ecu -complete intake manifold -alternator -a/c -power steering pump -all brackets and sensors -shift linkage is there anything missing to do the swap?and whats all entailed in doing this swap? slideways... 04-12-2007, 06:32 PM that works too, otherwise the only thing is you need to account for is the condition of the motor. you dont know for sure if it has a partially blown HG or if its been sitting for 10 years or something like that. if its all gravy, the SR20DET is a better motor than a turbo SR20DE, just because it has a few things that aid durability(oil squirters for the pistons, lower compression, ect) GSXBMX 04-12-2007, 08:53 PM based off my list of what comes with the motor....is there anything missing that i would need to do this swap...well besides the time and tools?also.does the motor bolt up right where the stock sr20de does or do i need a motor mount kit of some sort? slideways... 04-12-2007, 09:32 PM looks like you have all that you would need, i cant imagine that the motor has different mount locations. the only thing i can think of is you may have to source an aftermarket downpipe.
