I was wondering if anyone had information regarding hesitation and sputtering problems on my 92 4Runner SR5/manual 5 speed. It only happens when the engine is cold. I have to let it sit and warm up for 10-15 minutes everytime I go to drive it so i'm not sputtering down the road. When it is sputtering and hesitating there is a strong gas smell. After it warms up, there is no problem however. I have changed the fuel filter but that didn't help at all. If you have any suggestions or have had this problem before, please let me know what to do!

You are gonna have to dig in on this one. First scan codes to see whats popping up.

Next check spark plugs, cold start injector, coil, O2 sensor just for starters

Check the post from the 92 with the gas smell. It sounds like that
