Got a New Gauge!

I bought this AeroForce Interceptor ( http://www.aeroforcetech.com/GMtech.html ) off eBay and stuck it in my dash under the center vent. I've always wanted a gauge for the transmission but couldn't afford swapping out the instrument cluster. It works great...I'm going to recess it about 2" so it doesn't stick out and also because in sunlight it's hard to see.

Re: Got a New Gauge!

yes it reads codes and also clears them. I wanted the blue one but couldnt find one anywhere so I went with the regular white one.

Re: Got a New Gauge!

Looks pretty good. Did you not have the air bag on/off switch there?

Re: Got a New Gauge!

Yes...it's in the glove box now...and a strange thing happened when I moved it. My airbag light kept coming on so I would wiggle the wires at the sensor which I was going to replace in the front of the truck and then the light would go off and then come back on again. After I disconnected the wires to the switch and reconnected them in the glove box the light has stayed out so I must have been messing with the wrong connection.
