Opinion on wheelsgoldz28 04-04-2007, 09:27 AM I want to get some new wheels for my car. I think these look pretty good but what do you guys thinks? http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/americanracing/swap/ar_550_hopster_ci3_l.jpg or http://www.americanracing.com/dealerline/blackimages/mega/m135.jpg If you can post up some pics of ones you think would look good. Thank wrightz28 04-04-2007, 09:38 AM IMO, the second one looks too Ferrari-ish And the first is more for a "boxier" designed car. :2cents: goldz28 04-04-2007, 09:42 AM What do you think would look good? I like the C-6 wheels too. wrightz28 04-04-2007, 09:47 AM You see 'Vette wheels on too many F-bodies tho. But on the other hand, with a 4th gen there to me, there isn't alot of choice. Third gens you could put just about anything on them and they look good. 2nd gens, a few things here and there, RS type looked best to me. 1st gens, again, like thirds, a little boxier and depending on the over all stance, almost anything works. Earlsfat 04-04-2007, 10:58 AM Everyone seems to puut the same damned thing on their maros.. how about: http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=18&name=Atlas%20Polished&style=160&desc=1-piece%20alloy,%20polished§ion=A http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=164&name=Moab%20Forged%20Chrome&style=9250&desc=1-piece%20forged%20alloy,%20polished§ion=A http://www.buywheelstoday.com/products/?id=2794 you know... they all look so much alike it's pretty pathetic. goldz28 04-04-2007, 11:00 AM how about the TT2's? wrightz28 04-04-2007, 11:17 AM I think they look good on the T/A's not Camaros. rob67gmc 04-04-2007, 12:56 PM I guess I'm a little too "old school", not really into some of the newer designs. To me it's hard to beat the dragster/ pro street look of Weld Pro Stars, 10's out back and 7's up front. goldz28 04-05-2007, 12:02 AM Thats just it there is not a lot of options for wheels for the f-body. It's getting frustrating. I have a set of TT2's I got from a friend for 200 bucks but two of them are out of round from him loading up his S-10 with snow and hitting a pot hole. Could not tell till they balanced the wheels. So they look pretty good and would look better brand new. I just don't know what to do...lol damn it. wrightz28 04-05-2007, 09:50 AM Personally, with a gold car what I think would look real nice would be like the third gen T/A huoneycomb wheels in black with gold or chrome bead rings. I thnk a vette used the same style recently, the ZO6 with th e"splotch" on the fender :dunno: goldz28 04-05-2007, 10:34 AM I'm not sure either. I just need to decide within the next week or so. poormillionaire2 04-05-2007, 10:41 AM I'm not very original because I like the C5 Z06 rims on camaros. I think they go well. I don't however, like the C6 Z06 wheels on camaros. I like the design of them, and I think they look good, just not for camaros though. poormillionaire2 04-05-2007, 10:44 AM Did a search and came up with something that looks similar to the TTII's (IMO), kinda pricey though. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/product/wheels/bctjun.p.ang.jpg SG007 04-05-2007, 11:43 AM C5's, all the way....or Cragars. ahahahahahahaha Earlsfat 04-05-2007, 11:51 AM IMHO... corvette rims belong on a corvette. There ARE a lot of wheels out there Jer... most of them are total rice though. Only a few look good on maros - again imo - and then even fewer for the 4th gens. Need something droopy like, not all squared off, to match the body. Blackcrow64 04-14-2007, 01:17 AM I vote c6 wheels... :grinyes: Mr. Luos 04-14-2007, 10:16 AM ZR1's. I guess I'm a little too "old school", not really into some of the newer designs. To me it's hard to beat the dragster/ pro street look of Weld Pro Stars, 10's out back and 7's up front. Little love... http://www.arbybean.com/ar/images/Pro02.JPG goldz28 04-14-2007, 10:22 AM Well I got some wheels but I'm not telling.
