Does anybody know where the cam sensor is located in a 97 pontiac grand am? Also how do you replace this?

What size motor do you have first of all? I'll be able to tell you once I know the engine size and will be able to share what tools you need and how to change it once I know.

It is a 3.1 6 cylinder.

The Camshaft Position sensor on a 3.1 is located on the right side of the motor near where the motor is connected to the transmission.
