Question Baffled???

Hi,

I'm completely baffled?

I have had a problem with my heating system in my 1993 grand am se (2.3 quad) for some time now. Some how I am not getting enough air blowing out of the vents. I changed the fan, I installed a new heater core (because the old one basically blew up one day driving down the road) and I have checked to see if all the vacuums are working (They seem to be working because I can see all of them moving when I play with the dial on the dash.) I have taken a look to see if there was anything blocking the air flow through the vents but there seems to be nothing? I seriously have no clue where to go from here?
I have done everything I possible could to resolve this problem, however I still do not understand why I cannot get the hot air to come out at a good force? Also, it seems like the vents on the drivers side and the passenger side are not blowing out any air at all.

Is there something that I am missing, or something else I should be inspecting? I would really appreciate any comments. Hopefully somebody has a better clue what the problem is then I do?

Thanks

Re: Baffled???

check the vent tubes under the dash.
Could have knocked them loose when you were working on it.

Other then that you could have something blocking the outside part where it sucks the air in, right in front of the windshield under the hood where the wipers are.

Look in there and see if anythings blocking the opening.
